Investment Firm in New York is looking to add a Portfolio Analyst to their team! They're in the office 3x a week.

This role is primarily focused on tracking and maintaining both current and historical financial and operational metrics for portfolio companies. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis at both the fund and individual company level, supporting the quarterly valuation process, and preparing internal and external reports related to the portfolio. The role will collaborate closely with senior management, global investment teams, fundraising, accounting departments, and IT development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring activities and related processes
• Assist in the preparation and review of reports at both the portfolio company and fund level
• Review and assess portfolio company valuations and coordinate with auditors as needed
• Prepare responses to investor (LP) inquiries and due diligence requests
• Help manage the firm’s data platform to capture and analyze portfolio company financials and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Partner with the IT team to develop and implement new processes and system integrations
• Manage and execute multiple projects across various operational areas simultaneously

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; CPA designation is a plus
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
