Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a team delivering building operations and maintenance for a portfolio of sites across North America.

You will manage projects, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure delivery of workplace, infrastructure, and operational improvements. The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and experience in budgeting, scheduling, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills to calculate percentages, fractions and financial figures.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and oversight of vendors, contractors, consultants and project service providers.
• Schedule and manage the team's daily activities and set deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Lead and manage facility-related projects across North America including renovations and upgrades.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and communication plans.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational efficiencies and upgrades.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and review price quotes for parts, services, and labor.
• Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
• Lead by example consistent with CBRE RISE values.
