Job summary

KeyBank is seeking an Analyst in Portfolio Management to support underwriting and monitoring, preparing credit documents, and analyzing financial data for corporate exposures. This individual contributor position requires a finance-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and experience in financial analysis, credit, and banking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics and/or business (required) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in financial and/or borrower analysis (required).
• Experience preparing credit write-ups and/or capital markets analysis (preferred).
• Underwriting experience (preferred).
• Banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial data for clients, including spreading financial statements and collaborating with third party to ensure accuracy of spreads.
• Model future financial performance and downside scenarios for borrowers.
• Prepare credit underwriting documents highlighting risks and mitigants.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and participate in lending approvals.
• Support review and maintenance of legal documentation (credit agreements, guarantees, collateral).
• Monitor covenant compliance and maintain data integrity in systems.
