Job summary

Harvest Strategy Group in Denver, CO seeks a Portfolio Control Analyst to oversee and reconcile accounts within a third-party and legal collection network. You will ensure accurate placement, recalls, and compliance across clients, agencies, and internal systems.

The role requires strong analytical abilities and attention to detail with experience in ARM, debt servicing, or legal forwarding operations. Hybrid work environment and high-volume portfolios are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of ARM, third-party, collections, debt servicing, or legal operations experience required.
• Experience in master servicer, collection agency, debt buyer, forwarding company, or creditor recovery environment required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily account inventory movement across collection agencies, attorneys, and internal servicing platforms.
• Perform reconciliations of account inventories, placements, recalls, and liquidation activity to ensure data accuracy.
• Audit account transfers and placement files to validate compliance with client guidelines and internal controls.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, missing accounts, balance variances, and status inconsistencies.
• Track and report account flow metrics including placement volumes and inventory aging trends.
• Maintain accurate inventory reporting for operational leadership, clients, and business partners.
• Coordinate with third-party agencies, law firms, internal operations, compliance, and IT to resolve issues.
• Validate file transmissions, onboarding processes, and resolve data mapping issues with systems.
• Assist with portfolio onboarding and new client implementations; support audit requests and inventory controls.
