Acadian Asset Management LLC, headquartered in Boston with a flexible hybrid work environment, seeks an experienced Portfolio Control professional. You will oversee portfolio data integrity, manage relationships with external providers, and support client accounts from onboarding through ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or Economics is required.
• 7+ years of experience in investment operations or fund accounting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration with external partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Fund Oversight — oversee portfolio accounting, custody, and middle-office functions; resolve discrepancies with custodians, prime brokers, and counterparties.
• New Account Startup/Onboarding — prepare documentation for counterparty onboarding and internal system setups; coordinate between stakeholders.
• Fund Administration — oversee budgeting, accruals, invoices, payments; support regulatory, compliance, and tax filings and audits.
• Market Documentation — open local markets for funds and maintain market/compliance docs throughout the fund lifecycle.
• Tax Reporting — respond to client inquiries regarding fund taxes; facilitate K-1, PFIC, Form 5500 filings.
• Operational Strategy — identify process improvements and drive AI-enabled efficiency, scalability, and risk reduction across providers and systems.
• Technical Skills — advanced Excel; experience with Advent Geneva or similar, and Tableau is a plus.
