Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and strong safety awareness.
• Experience in custodial, maintenance, or building operations preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to interact respectfully with residents, visitors, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients, staff, and materials in Win vehicles while following all safety regulations.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of shelter interiors, common areas, offices, and exterior grounds.
• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance issues, accidents, or infractions.
• Manage trash removal, compactor operations, and general upkeep to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assist with building maintenance including painting, minor repairs, and carpentry tasks.
• Complete unit inspections and seasonal maintenance, including snow/ice removal.
• Repair or replace door locks, detectors, and other facility equipment as needed.
• Support resident move-ins and move-outs with excellent customer service and safety.
