Job Summary

Responsible for delivering friendly, courteous service while maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas. The Utility Porter performs deep cleaning, scrubbing, polishing, and other labor-intensive tasks across the casino floor, including areas above six feet. Duties include trash removal, window cleaning, and operating ladders, lifts, and motorized equipment.

This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to Service Standards, Safety Procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary
  • Monitor casino floor, stairways, mirrors, glass, and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
  • Service assigned areas daily, including vacuuming, restroom cleaning, emptying ash/trash receptacles, dusting, polishing, and sweeping
  • Clean and maintain restrooms, including sinks, mirrors, walls, and fixtures
  • Ensure restrooms remain clean, stocked, and orderly at all times
  • Perform full cleaning of the casino floor, including vacuuming, gaming tables, and carpet shampooing
  • Retrieve necessary cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishment
  • Respond promptly and safely to biohazard situations (e.g., blood, bodily fluids)
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and sanitary condition
  • Report maintenance issues and emergency repairs to the Supervisor immediately
  • Safeguard sensitive and privileged information
  • Submit all Lost & Found items to Security in a timely manner
  • Follow all safety guidelines and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Attend required training sessions and participate in pre-shift meetings
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management
  • Ability to receive instructions and hear inquiries from guests, clients, or staff.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift.
What You Will Need
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written in a professional manner.
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior professional cleaning experience preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to push and pull up to 300 pounds.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
  • Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment.
  • Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
  • Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
  • Work requires visual abilities needed to safely operate motorized equipment.
