Job summary

Caesars Entertainment at Circus Circus Reno is seeking an EVS Porter Heavy Duty for the graveyard shift. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness in public areas, restrooms, pool areas, floors, windows, walls, stairs and elevators, and vacuum all floors.

The role requires experience operating cleaning equipment, safe handling of chemicals, and the ability to work under time pressure in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cleaning equipment and tools such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, buffers, ladders, and floor scrubbers.
• Able to safely use cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Ability to work under time pressure in a large, busy environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean all slot machines, restrooms, pool area, floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators; vacuum all floors.
• Clean public areas, TMDR, hallways, casino floor, and other areas as requested.

Job Summary

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Responsible for cleaning all slot machines, restrooms, pool area, floors, windows, walls, stairs and elevators as well as vacuuming all floors
• Responsible for cleaning public areas, TMDR, hallways, and casino floor and any other requested areas

What You Will Need

• Experience operating a vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, buffer, ladder, dumpster, floor scrubber, and hand tools
• Able to safely use chemicals and personal protective equipment for cleaning
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive or confined environment
• High School diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise, and bright lights

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
