Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a dedicated Public Area Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the Reno property. You will be responsible for cleaning slot machines, restrooms, pool area, floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators, as well as public areas and hallways to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires experience operating cleaning equipment, knowledge of chemical safety, and the ability to work under time pressure in a busy setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, buffers, ladders, dumpsters and floor scrubbers.
• Ability to use chemicals safely and wear PPE.
• Ability to work under time pressure in a large public area.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high cleanliness standards in all public areas of the property.
• Cleans slot machines, restrooms, pool area, floors, windows, walls, stairs and elevators; vacuums all floors.
• Cleans public areas, TMDR, hallways, casino floor, and other areas as requested.
• Demonstrates Caesars core values and our DEI culture.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

• Responsible for cleaning all slot machines, restrooms, pool area, floors, windows, walls, stairs and elevators as well as vacuuming all floors

What You Will Need

• Experience operating a vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, buffer, ladder, dumpster, floor scrubber, and hand tools
• Able to safely use chemicals and personal protective equipment for cleaning
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive or confined environment
• High School diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise, and bright lights

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
