Job summary

Preferred Care Management is hiring a Porter in our Housekeeping Department to maintain cleanliness across the facility and support patient care. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, learning to operate laundry equipment, and working as part of a dedicated housekeeping team.

• Maintain high level of cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working order.
• Remove trash and soiled linens; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Learn to operate commercial laundry equipment.
• Work as a team with other Housekeepers.

Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning common areas of the facility and Resident rooms


• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas


• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times


• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds


• Housekeeper must be able to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment


• Must be able to work as a team member with other Housekeepers assigned to the facility


• Solid work ethic with initiative for quality and customer service


• Remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients


• Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor

Housekeeping Qualifications and Experience:

All Housekeepers must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details

Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule

May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
