Job summary

Preferred Care at Old Bridge is hiring a full-time housekeeper to join the housekeeping department. The role involves cleaning resident rooms and common areas, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supporting a positive patient experience.

Experience in healthcare cleaning and ability to lift up to fifty pounds are preferred. A team-focused, reliable schedule is essential to ensure service quality for our patients.

Qualifications

• All Housekeepers must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule.
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested.
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred).
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas of the facility and resident rooms.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Removal of trash & soiled linens; lift up to fifty pounds.
• Learn to operate commercial laundry equipment.
• Work as a team member with other Housekeepers assigned to the facility.
• Solid work ethic with initiative for quality and customer service.
• Remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients.
• Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor.

Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities:

The Housekeeping is responsible for the following:

• Cleaning common areas of the facility and Resident rooms
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
