Job summary

Preferred Care Health Centers is seeking a full-time housekeeper to join our Housekeeping Department in New Jersey. You will clean resident rooms and common areas, maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety, and ensure equipment is kept in working order, while supporting a team-oriented environment.

Experience in healthcare or commercial laundry is preferred. Reliability and a steady schedule are valued, with lifting up to fifty pounds required.

Qualifications

• All Housekeepers must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas of the facility and Resident rooms
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Housekeeper must be able to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment
• Must be able to work as a team member with other Housekeepers assigned to the facility
• Solid work ethic with initiative for quality and customer service
• Remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients
• Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor

Housekeeping Duties and Responsibilities
