Job summary

Core Spaces, LLC is seeking a Porter to maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation across a student housing community in Bloomington, IN. You will work under supervision to support move-in/move-out, turn, inspections, and resident events, ensuring a consistently welcoming environment.

The role is non-exempt and on-site, with overtime opportunities. Prior porter, janitorial, or facilities support experience is valued, along with a strong work ethic and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic with reliability and urgency.
• Ability to follow safety and cleanliness standards.
• Experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, or facilities support is a plus.
• Comfort using basic technology and work orders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal across exterior areas and common spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning, trash management, and waste recycling duties.
• Inspect assigned areas daily and address safety and maintenance concerns.
• Support move-in, move-out, and resident events, ensuring property readiness.
• Document completed work and communicate needs via company systems.
