Job summary

Mark-Taylor is seeking a Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) for The Art on Highland in Phoenix, AZ. You will help maintain community grounds and interiors while delivering exceptional resident service and upholding curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Prior groundskeeping/porter experience is desirable.
• Ability to interact positively with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and interior spaces.
• Uptake and upkeep of grounds, amenities, exteriors, dumpster areas, and parking lots.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks and janitorial duties.
• Conduct property walks, landscaping assessments, and make-ready inspections.
• Assist with pool areas, lighting, breezeways, and BBQ grills.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $19.00/hour.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Willingness to work cohesively as a part of a team.
• Ability to interact positively and courteously with team members and residents.
• Prior experience working as groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or related position is especially desirable.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments prior to make-ready process.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
• Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and upkeep of pool(s), tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas and BBQ grills.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing, light exterior painting of speed bumps, curbs etc.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.
