Mark-Taylor, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) for The Art on Highland in Phoenix, AZ. You will help maintain community grounds, cleanliness and curb appeal while delivering friendly resident service.

This full-time role at Mark-Taylor offers benefits and room for career growth. The base pay is $19.00 per hour, with a collaborative team and a strong focus on service to residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interact positively and courteously with team members and residents.
• Prior experience as groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or related role is desirable.
• Basic written and spoken English required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds and work areas daily, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots, and common buildings.
• Remove trash from exterior grounds and vacant apartments during make-ready process.
• Perform opening/closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
• Daily/weekly/monthly cleaning and upkeep of pools, tot lots, lighting, breezeways, grilling areas.
• Conduct janitorial tasks such as power washing and light exterior painting.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $19.00/hour.

Requirements

In This Role You Will

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments prior to make-ready process.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
• Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and upkeep of pool(s), tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas and BBQ grills.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing, light exterior painting of speed bumps, curbs etc.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.
