Job summary

Mark-Taylor, a leading Arizona multi-family housing company, seeks a Facilities Technician (Porter/Groundskeeper) to maintain clean, safe, and attractive community grounds in Tempe and surrounding areas. You will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting interior and exterior upkeep and landscaping across our communities.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as Facilities Technician, Groundskeeper, Porter, or similar title.
• Willingness to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Basic written and verbal English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and work areas daily.
• Upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, dumpster areas, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from exterior grounds, trash containers, and vacant apartments prior to make-ready process.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.
• Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and upkeep of pool(s), tot lots, light fixtures, breezeways, amenity areas and BBQ grills.
• Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing, light exterior painting of speed bumps, curbs, etc.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $19.00/hour.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience as a Facilities Technician, Groundskeeper, Porter, or similar title, is required.


• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.


• Willingness to work cohesively as a part of a team.


• Ability to interact positively and courteously with team members and residents.


• Prior experience working as groundskeeper, landscaper, porter, or related position is especially desirable.


• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will
