Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a full-time Porter/Maintenance role in New York, NY. You will provide cleaning services for community offices, apartments, and common areas, while performing floor care and basic maintenance.

The position supports a safe, neat, and attractive living environment for residents. The role requires ability to operate small tools, follow safety instructions, and adapt to different shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Atria training programs.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic using US currency and measurements.
• Able to work varied schedules and shifts as needed.
• Able to safely use basic maintenance and landscape tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services for offices, apartments, interiors and exteriors and common areas.
• Perform floor care including vacuuming, extraction, buffing, sealing and related tasks.
• Remove trash and debris from community areas.
• Maintain grounds, sidewalks and building exteriors.
• Perform basic maintenance requests as needed.
• Mow lawn, trim shrubs and cultivate flowers (varies by community).
• Notify management of repairs and unsafe conditions.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work performed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
