Join us for the PORTER (FULL TIME) role at Flik Hospitality Group.

We are hiring immediately for full-time PORTER positions at the Capital One Lounge, located at 1 Saarinen Circle, Sterling, VA 20166. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. More details will be provided upon interview.

Requirements: Previous food service experience preferred.

Job Summary

Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure tables are bussed, cleared, and cleaned; floors are swept during peak times and prepped prior to service.
• Follow safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Wash dishes, glasses, and pots; clean cooking stations and equipment to maintain sanitation standards.
• Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes by hand or in dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness.
• Keep display equipment clean and compliant with safety standards during meal service.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and transporting items safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Commit to personal and team safety.
• Abide by all company policies and safety procedures, including the use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
