• Experience: 1+ years as a Porter or Dishwasher; 6 months in custodial or cleaning role preferred; 6 months in Food & Beverage industry preferred.
• Skills/Abilities: Multi-tasking while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor; ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs; stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Professional Characteristics: Punctual, responsible, reliable, hard-working, team-player.
• Personal Characteristics: Diligent, self-starting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house and front-of-house areas.
• Clean and sort all dishes and flatware.
• Clean, sweep, and mop both back-of-house and front-of-house floors.
• Collect and dispose of all trash in a clean and timely manner.
• Wash and disinfect appliances, display cases, work surfaces, floors, and walls.
• Monitor restrooms for cleanliness and cleaning supply replenishment.
• Complete all other miscellaneous tasks as required by the business or assigned by management.
• Travel to support other F&B locations as required on rare occasions.

Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00/hr

Position Summary

The Porter is an important member of the restaurant/café staff and the overall dining experience of the guest. The primary responsibilities of the Porter will be focused on supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure they are able to provide the best dining experience for our guests. The Porter will remain in constant contact with the Management team regarding any assigned or pending tasks. They will work collaboratively to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for all guests as well as all staff members.
