Position Summary

IEC is looking for a skilled Porter Tech to work at our 468-unit apartment community located in Santa Clara, California. The Porter must have experience working in an apartment community and strong communication and follow-up skills, both with residents and other team members.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of property grounds, leasing office, all common areas, all amenities, to include fitness center, fire pit areas, pool, and BBQ
• Light general maintenance required.
• Walk the grounds to pick up litter, pet waste, etc.
• Sweep the dumpster areas
• Assist maintenance and office staff with various tasks such as posting property correspondence to tenants, such as resident events, and others as assigned
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
• Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them
• Demonstrate customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect
• Ad-hoc assignments as needed
• Emergency on-call as needed
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of working experience at an apartment community
• Customer service oriented
• Availability to work Weekends
