Job Opening: Porter

We are hiring immediately for a full-time PORTER position.

Location: Roblox - 2750 South Delaware Street, San Mateo, CA 94403. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: 2 years of previous porter experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures tables are bussed, cleared, cleaned, and floors are swept during peak times and prepped prior to service.
• Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Washes dishes, glasses, and pots; cleans cooking stations and equipment to maintain sanitation standards.
• Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, ensuring complete cleanliness.
• Keeps display equipment clean and in compliance with safety standards during meal service.
• Receives heavy deliveries and transports them safely to storage areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Prioritizes safety for yourself and others.
• Follows all company policies, including the use of gloves and proper lifting techniques.
