Porter Role at SpaceX

As a porter, you will interact with employees, staff, and management in our private restaurant and throughout the campus, maintaining courtesy and professionalism. Responsibilities include restocking supplies, staging for takeaway, and other duties assigned by kitchen management.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sanitation and food safety practices consistently.
• Help evaluate receiving spaces to ensure safety and security.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks accurately and on time.
• Follow safety standards and ensure the safety of team members and guests.
• Coordinate with team members for efficient service preparation.
• Accurately put food orders away, rotate stock using FIFO, and monitor shelf life and code dates.
• Maintain basic knowledge of restaurant equipment operation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of restaurant, warehouse, or customer service experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in restaurants, porter roles, or inventory management.
• Ability to work well with others and be self-driven.
• Valid WA food handler’s card or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Availability for shifts: 7AM-5:30PM or 9AM-7:30PM, Monday to Friday.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and all shifts as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $22.50 - $24.50/hour, depending on experience and level.
