Responsibilities

Basic Function - This role involves facility maintenance duties and customer interaction. Previous experience is preferred but not required. The individual must perform with minimal supervision. Additional duties may include equipment servicing and general housekeeping.

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per checklists and supervisor instructions to keep all areas clean and debris-free using appropriate tools.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs of the garage to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Clean entrances, exits, stairwells, and surfaces on all levels, including booths, offices, and restrooms.
• Empty trashcans in the garage, booth, and office.
• Paint areas of the facility as directed to maintain appearance and neatness.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to spills.
• Submit repair or maintenance requests.
• Check safety items like gate arms and clearance bars for security.
• Inspect ticket spitters and gates for proper operation, supply levels, and accuracy.
• Record gate operations and maintain inventory of janitorial supplies.
• Operate equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor tools for repairs or landscaping.
• Shovel, plow, or blow snow from ramps and designated areas.
• Report safety hazards, policy violations, or unusual occurrences promptly.
• Practice customer satisfaction principles and assist customers as directed.
• Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
• Familiarize with all operations and perform additional duties like cashiering as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in facility maintenance, electrical, or painting may be required depending on the role.

License: Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.

Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including potential third shifts and weekends.

Skills: Clear communication, customer service orientation, adaptability, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to read, write, interpret information, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions.

Salary Range: $21.00 per hour
