Galpin Motors, Inc. is seeking Porters to join our Ford team in North Hills, CA. You will move vehicles, assist managers with inventory, and prepare cars for customers while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires a valid CA driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Ability to pass preliminary background check and drug screen.
• Experience driving a wide variety of cars, light trucks and vans with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Professional work ethic and high integrity.
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently.
• Open availability from open to close; weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles to different areas of the dealership throughout the day.
• Assist Sales and Service Managers with inventory management.
• Locat[e] vehicles as they are notified over the radio by dispatch or cashiers.
• Keep Galpin vehicles looking great by washing, detailing, and preparing for customers.
• Park all completed vehicles in the vehicle pickup staging area.
• Contribute to a welcoming environment by keeping all areas clean and tidy.
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness for customer delivery or service; follow safety guidelines.
