Job summary

Galpin Motors, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking experienced Ford Technicians for Heavy Line, Transmission, and Diesel roles in our main shop and Pro Elite Commercial Fleet Center. Up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

You will diagnose and repair major mechanical systems, document steps, and conduct road tests to ensure quality. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and 3+ years of automotive tech experience (Ford Certification

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• 3+ years automotive tech experience, Ford Certified preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Professional work ethic and high integrity.
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently.
• Strong problem solving and follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major mechanical systems including driveline, suspension, transmission, and diesel engines.
• Document diagnostic steps, repair procedures, and parts used on repair orders accurately.
• Conduct road tests and post-repair inspections to confirm performance and repair quality.
• Identify additional repair needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor or Shop Foreman.
