Job summary

Powder Mountain is seeking a Porter to join our culinary team in a seasonal full-time capacity. You will help with dishwashing, sanitation, and basic kitchen support in a fast-paced resort environment.

Requirements include a 16+ age, a valid food handler permit, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. A team player with reliable transportation is preferred for this role, which offers excellent benefits and growth opportunities within Powder Mountain's Food & Beverage department.

Qualifications

• Age 16+.
• Food handlers permit from Weber County Health Department.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen terminology (behind, corner, hot) to notify peers.
• Non-slip shoes required.
• Reliable transportation preferred; able to drive in adverse weather or use UTA.
• Be a team player with a can-do attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 60+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and load all dishes into the dish machine as needed.
• Wash, sanitize, unload and organize pans, utensils and dishes.
• Do not run cast iron equipment through the dish machine.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the dish machine.
• Empty trash containers and sweep/mop as needed.
• Keep work area and kitchen/ front area tidy.
• Break down boxes to free dumpster space.
• Occasionally assist Commissary Kitchen when needed.
• Be punctual and dependable.
