Job summary

Auburn Toyota, operated by Fox TS LLC, is seeking a dedicated porter to keep showrooms and customer areas pristine. You will clean interiors and exteriors, assist with vehicle movement, and ensure a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic dealership setting located in Auburn, NY. Training on safety policies will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in a porter or janitorial role is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all showroom areas, offices, restrooms, and customer waiting areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the dealership.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the service drive and exterior areas, including picking up debris, sweeping, and ensuring clear pathways.
• Assist with moving vehicles on the lot and in the service department as needed.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and presentable for customers, including basic detailing such as wiping down interiors and washing exteriors when instructed.
• Monitor and restock supplies in restrooms and customer waiting areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist other departments with various tasks as needed to support overall dealership operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
