Job summary

Town Village Crossing Independent Living is seeking a dedicated porter/maintenance associate to support housekeeping and property maintenance at our Arlington community.

The role emphasizes ensuring clean, safe, and presentable living spaces for residents, with opportunities to contribute to a caring, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living (preferred).
• Ability to climb, bend, lift, kneel, stand for extended periods and move furniture.
• Maintain building and common areas including cleaning tasks.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and refurbish units after move-out.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and restrooms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas, including carpet and furniture cleaning, window cleaning, removal of trash, and upkeep of vinyl floors as assigned.
• Maintain the grounds, including outside building repair and garbage removal as assigned.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and complete refurbishing of units after move-out as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, entryways, and public restrooms throughout the community.
• Empty trash receptacles and remove waste from designated areas on a regular schedule.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors, carpets, and entry mats throughout the day.
• Monitor and restock supplies in common area restrooms and stations.
• Respond promptly to spills, messes, or cleanliness concerns as they arise throughout the day.

Highlights of the Porter:
