Job summary

Town Village Crossing in Arlington, TX is seeking a dedicated porter to support our senior living community. You will help maintain clean, safe common areas, assist with move-ins, and support ongoing building upkeep to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role requires at least one year in hospitality or senior living. You should be able to lift and stand for long periods and be a reliable team player ready to help with cleaning, grounds, and move-out refurbishments while

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living (preferred).
• Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach and carry.
• Stand for extended periods of time and move furniture when needed.
• Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas, including cleaning tasks.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out as assigned.

• Assist with preparing apartments for move-in and refurbishing after move-out.

Highlights of the Porter:

• A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living (preferred)
• Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach and carry, stand for extended periods of time and may be required to move furniture.
• Maintain the inside of the building, offices, and common areas, including carpet and furniture cleaning, window cleaning, removal of trash, and upkeep of vinyl floors as assigned
• Maintain the grounds, including outside building repair and garbage removal as assigned
• Prepare apartments for move-in and complete refurbishing of units after move-out as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, entryways, and public restrooms throughout the community
• Empty trash receptacles and remove waste from designated areas on a regular schedule
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors, carpets, and entry mats throughout the day
• Monitor and restock supplies in common area restrooms and stations
• Respond promptly to spills, messes, or cleanliness concerns as they arise throughout the day
