Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time, unarmed TWIC route patrol driver role. You will provide customer service, perform regular patrols of port facilities, verify credentials, and respond to incidents in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a TSA TWIC card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles, with background checks and drug screening as part of employment.

Formación

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC card.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, port users, vendors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of port facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting access concerns as required.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document activities per site requirements.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate observations to leadership.
