Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed TSA Credential Driver) in Jacksonville, FL. You will safeguard clients in government and other sectors, performing patrols, credential checks, and incident response with a strong customer-service focus.

Role requires TSA TWIC, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 20 pounds. You will work a daytime schedule across multiple shifts, joining a team committed to integrity and community safety.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to port visitors, employees, contractors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, access points, parking areas, waterfront perimeters, and surrounding grounds to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify credentials for personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles according to entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and other security-related observations.
