Job summary

Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed TWIC Patrol Driver to protect government port facilities, deter incidents, and provide customer service. The role offers flexible DayTime weekends, with a pay rate of $17.06 per hour.

You will conduct patrols, verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while upholding safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• TWIC card issued by TSA is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and maritime personnel by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of port facilities, terminals, parking areas, access points, waterside perimeters, and surrounding property to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, vendors, drivers, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, and other security concerns through established procedures.
