City and County of San Francisco seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the Port Modernization Project, coordinating Salesforce-based systems, Kahua, and harbor management upgrades. The role focuses on delivering integrated solutions, aligning with business needs, and guiding organizational change.

You will manage roadmaps, partner with researchers and contractors, and steer agile ceremonies to succeed across multiple tech initiatives within the Port’s modernization program.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Eight years of experience implementing and managing integrated information systems projects.

Responsabilidades

• Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and implementation strategies for the Port Modernization Project.
• Establish and manage schedules, milestones, deliverables, and priorities for timely execution.
• Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to define product direction and prioritize requirements.
• Organize advisory groups and stakeholder committees to facilitate planning and decision-making.
• Partner with user researchers and external consultants for research and requirements gathering.
• Identify user needs with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Evaluate and improve business workflows with Port staff to boost operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present status reports to Port leadership and other stakeholders.
• Engage change champions across Port units to support adoption of new technology.
