Job summary

Windstar Cruises seeks a seasoned Professional to own and elevate port-side guest experiences, including embarkation, debarkation, DDEs, and special events ashore. You will oversee minute-by-minute journey design, logistics, and staffing, ensuring seamless, on-brand experiences aligned with Windstar’s standards.

Reporting to Port Operations, you will partner with Product Development and Guest Services to translate land concepts into executable port plans, manage on-site hotel and transfer

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cruise, travel, destination management, or large-scale live event operations.
• Ability to run complex logistics under time pressure with tight deadlines.
• Strong judgment under pressure and proactive problem anticipation.
• Excellent cross-functional communicator; can coordinate with third-party operators.
• Willingness to be on call across time zones during turn days and events.
• Comfort with operational systems and reporting; document and standardize best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own port touchpoint guest experience design and minute-by-minute journeys.
• Coordinate embarkation/debarkation, DDEs, and port events with internal/external teams.
• Lead operational response to port changes and shift logistics as needed.
• Ensure consistency with brand standards and high-quality guest experiences.
• Act as day-of owner for on-site hotel and transfer execution in turns.
• Collaborate with Product Development on DDE execution and logistics.
• Define success metrics for pier-side experiences and execution support.
