Job summary

Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York is seeking a Population Health Program Coordinator to deliver administrative, financial, and operational support for the Population Health unit. You will help coordinate programs, generate reports, and manage finance tasks such as reconciling checks and processing payments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management and the ability to set priorities among multiple competing objectives, tasks, and initiatives are required.
• Strong proficiency in problem assessment, resolution, and collaborative problem-solving in complex, interdisciplinary settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with professional staff, providers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, follow through, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse staff with tact and sensitivity.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or similar software; willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
• Motivation, positive mindset and strong work ethic.
• Must complete systems training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Program Coordination: supports improvements and activities to meet performance objectives.
• Vendor management and support for incentive payments to practices; coordinate documentation.
• Track compliance with CAP IPA membership guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and distribute reports on incentive program performance to practices and providers.
• Maintain CAP newsletters and educational resources for CAP quality programs.
• Support Population Health team on quality and regulatory activities and data management.
• Attend and prepare meeting minutes for Population Health meetings.
• Perform other tasks and projects within scope of work.
