Job summary

Jewish Family and Children's Service of Greater Philadelphia seeks an Events and Logistics Coordinator to manage Our Closet pop-up shops across Philadelphia. You will oversee event planning, inventory prep, transportation, and volunteer coordination to provide a dignified shopping experience for clients in need.

Responsibilities include on-site coordination, partner engagement, data tracking, and community outreach, with occasional evenings/weekends and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of successful work experience in events, volunteers, or logistics.
• Experience coordinating events, volunteers, and community outreach preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit, social services, retail, or community-based environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Our Closet pop-up shops from start to finish.
• Manage event logistics including scheduling, site coordination, inventory, transportation, setup, shopper flow, and materials distribution.
• Coordinate inventory prep, packing, loading, and transportation to events.
• Serve as on-site coordinator to ensure smooth operations and positive shopper experience.
• Develop and maintain relationships with host sites, partners, and donors.
• Track program data, volunteers, inventory, and outcomes; prepare reports.
