The ideal candidate has prior serving experience and can explain menu items, cocktails, and daily specials while maintaining professionalism and energy throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Clear and effective English communication for menu explanations.
• Six months to one year of serving experience preferred; resort/outdoor service experience a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously at poolside seating areas, cabanas, and loungers.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and explain menu items, specials, and cocktails.
• Maintain a visible, attentive presence throughout the pool area to anticipate guest needs.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately to poolside locations with proper presentation.
• Replenish beverages and check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Present dessert and specialty beverage options when applicable.
• Thank guests and provide a positive final impression after service.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Communicate with kitchen and bar to support timely service.
• Retrieve and deliver completed orders with accuracy and presentation.
• Process guest checks in accordance with resort procedures.
• Work outdoors in heat, sun, humidity, and varying weather conditions.
• Adapt service flows to changing pool activity and seating arrangements.
• Maintain safety awareness for wet surfaces and high temperatures.
• Maintain professionalism during high-volume periods.
