Job summary

Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale invites an experienced bartender to craft curated wines, cocktails, and spirits in a luxury hotel setting. You will engage guests with expert tastings, recommend pairings, and ensure flawless service at the bar.

You will handle high-volume service, manage orders with precision on Opera or Micros POS, and contribute to a welcoming, high‑standard experience for all guests in a vibrant coastal property.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high‑volume bartending experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits; ability to upsell.
• Strong time‑management skills; multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to operate computer systems; Opera and Micros POS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wines, spirits, and cocktails per recipes and menu.
• Confirm guest orders and verify accuracy using the hotel's POS system.
• Engage guests at the bar with vivid descriptions of origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Anticipate guest needs, answer questions, and respond to concerns promptly.
• Close guest checks and process payments accurately.
