Job summary

Proper Hospitality in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Pool Attendant to warmly greet guests, assist with seating and towels, and ensure a welcoming pool experience. You will help guests access pool services, answer questions about amenities, and coordinate with the team to keep the area pristine and safe.

The role requires attentiveness, the ability to stand for long periods, and a willingness to assist with food and beverage requests. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous hospitality or guest service experience is preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (training may be provided).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests to the pool area with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Assist guests with seating, towels, and ensuring they have what they need to enjoy their time at the pool.
• Respond to inquiries about pool amenities, hotel services, and local attractions.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Address guest concerns promptly and elevate to the Pool Supervisor or Manager as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area; set up furniture, umbrellas, and towels.
• Ensure poolside amenities are stocked and replenished as needed.
• Monitor activities to enforce safety rules and respond to safety concerns or incidents.
• Assist with poolside service requests and provide information on services and promotions.
