Job summary

Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa in Florida seeks a Pool Attendant to keep the pool area clean, safe and welcoming for guests. You will handle backwashing, replenish amenities, stock towels and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.

The role requires at least two years of customer service, ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds, and adherence to the Employee Handbook and resort policies. You will train new staff and greet guests as you move through public areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years customer service experience.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds; push and pull 50 pounds.
• Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies per employee handbook.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned pool areas in accordance with the Resort standards areas and checking/adjusting chemical levels in the pools as well as performing backwash daily.
• Replenishing amenities and supplies in the assigned pool area as needed.
• Stocking and maintaining fresh towels.
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Acknowledging and greeting all guests in corridors and all other public access areas.
• Answering questions about local area attractions and things to do.
• Maintaining up-to-date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events.
• Demonstrating the Evolution Hospitality Values and Guiding Principles.
• Will be asked to train new employees.
