The Lodge at Torrey Pines, owned by Evans Hotels, is seeking a Pool Server to deliver courteous, timely service in our resort restaurant setting in La Jolla, CA. The role requires knowledge of menus, proactive guest engagement, and accurate order handling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include presenting menus, suggesting items, following cash handling policies, and maintaining standards. Availability on weekends and holidays is required, with part-time day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in hospitality.
• Weekend and holidays availability is required.
• Must obtain San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cordially and professionally presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Employs suggestive selling techniques to stimulate sales.
• Follows cash and credit card handling policies at all times.
• Follows restaurant's table setting procedures (glassware, silverware, portions, drinking garnishes).
• Is responsible for completion of their assigned opening and closing procedures.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures related to personal appearance, uniform standards, personal conduct, and guest relations.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
