Job summary

The Lodge at Torrey Pines, owned by Evans Hotels LLC, is seeking a Pool Server to provide courteous, timely, and professional service by the pool area. You should know menus and pricing, and maintain a proactive, guest-focused attitude.

This part-time position requires weekend and holiday availability and offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with match, and employee perks such as free meals during shifts and free/discounted parking.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
• Must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire; Evans Hotels will provide the training.
• RBS Certification required.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Cordially and professionally presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Employs suggestive selling techniques to stimulate sales.
• Follows cash and credit card handling policies at all times.
• Follows restaurant's table setting procedures (glassware, silverware, portions, drinking garnishes).
• Is responsible for completion of their assigned opening and closing procedures.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures related to personal appearance, uniform standards, personal conduct, and guest relations.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
