Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Pool Server who delivers impeccable poolside service with a focus on guest comfort. You will respond efficiently and courteously to guest interactions, maintaining a polished, professional image at all times.

As part of a luxury team, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and other departments to ensure guest preferences are recorded and honored, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and timely service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest service preferred.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond professionally.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess guests’ needs quickly and adjust service style accordingly.
• Address guests by name and maintain professional demeanor.
• Provide stylish, dynamic poolside service in a luxury setting.
• Build rapport with regulars and new guests; handle requests gracefully.
• Stay calm and professional during all situations and manage complaints.
• Support the Food & Beverage team to track guest preferences.
• Ensure proper uniform and grooming aligned with hotel policy.
• Collaborate with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.

Pool Server

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is looking for a Pool Server that strives for excellence and is a highly motivated team player.

The Pool Server will provide impeccable service at all times, respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort.

Responsibilities

• To quickly assess guests’ needs and flex style appropriately.
• To use the guests’ names whenever possible, in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• To add style to a dynamic environment.
• To build and maintain rapport with regular guests (both residents and non-residents) as well as cultivating relationships with new patrons.
• To remain calm, composed and in control, even in unusual situations.
• To effectively handle guest complaints, compliments, concerns or special requests.
• To project a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and fellow employees.
• To assist the Food & Beverage Manager to develop and maintain a record of all regular guests with their preferences (e.g. beverage type, table location, birthdays, special family occasions).
• To ensure effective communication between all employees of the department and also with other departments.
• To take proper care of uniform, personal appearance and hygiene in accordance with hotel policy and procedure.
• To supervise the Runners and Bussers at all times during shifts.
• To work together with other members of staff in all departments and especially the Kitchen.
• To be honest, sober and a good timekeeper at all times.
• To attend monthly meetings of Restaurant, Bar & Terrace Team.
