Assist with the planning, coordinating, developing, administering, and evaluation of aquatic activities as they relate to aquatic centers to include, but not limited to, any pre-season opening responsibilities and any post-season closing responsibilities.
Must have at least one year of lifeguarding experience and meet all YMCA of Greater Richmond Lifeguard Standards. Must hold current YMCA, American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification; to include CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration (O2) if YMCA certified. If not YMCA certified, the employee must obtain O2 within 30 days of the hiring date. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age. The candidate will be required to work some weekends.
