Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Hiring Bonus: $1000 (no experience) or $1500 (1+ years pool maintenance experience)*; Effective April 10, 2025

*This bonus is paid in two installments: half after 90 days of employment and the other half after 180 days of employment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist Pool Maintenance Specialist in cleaning and maintaining pools and facilities by skimming, vacuuming, and chemical treatments.
• Periodically perform deep cleaning of pools, including brushing and scrubbing walls, floors, and surfaces.
• Test pool water regularly for pH, chlorine, bacteria, algae, and contaminants.
• Receive training to ensure proper chemical handling and water clarity.
• Calculate and add chemicals to maintain water quality and correct issues.
• Inspect pools and equipment for proper operation and safety.
• Maintain daily logs of chemical usage, water quality, repairs, and supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of pool cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Mechanical skills related to aquatic facilities and equipment.
• Math skills for chemical calculations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related experience required.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 80 pounds, interpret water analysis, and perform cleaning and monitoring tasks.
