Job summary

Talking Stick Resort is seeking a Bartender for a full-time position in its Food & Beverage department. The role involves mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests, handling cash, and maintaining bar cleanliness.

You may be assigned to lounges, restaurants, gaming floors, showrooms, pool areas, or banquets. The ideal candidate is at least 21 years old with bartending experience, knowledge of Arizona liquor laws, and a valid Maricopa County Food Handlers card.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age and have bartending experience.
• Knowledge of Arizona liquor laws and Title 4 or Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification a plus.
• Must have valid Maricopa County Food Handlers card.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers or beverage servers.
• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
• Collects money for drinks served and operates a cash register with correct change.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar area and supplies.
• Ensures health and safety standards are followed and displays beverages attractively.
