Unique Landscapes & Custom Pools is a Phoenix-area leader in pool and landscape design, offering independent design representatives a full design-build platform. You will meet with homeowners, craft outdoor-living concepts, and guide projects from proposal to close, supported by in-house CAD and construction planning.
The role emphasizes design and selling outdoor environments, from pools to hardscapes, with company-generated leads and a flexible, work-from-home structure.
Qualifications

Responsibilities

For 25 years, Unique has consistently been recognized among the Valley’s leading pool and landscape companies. Our headquarters and showroom are in Chandler, but our representatives have the flexibility to work from home and manage their own schedules.
We provide the leads. You design, present and sell.
Our representatives meet with homeowners, develop creative outdoor-living concepts, illustrate the design, present the project, estimate the work and close the sale.
After the contract is completed and processed, our in-house CAD and construction-planning team takes over the detailed construction documents and production process.
That means our representatives can stay focused on what they do best: designing and selling.
Unique also builds virtually everything outside—not just swimming pools. Our representatives can sell complete outdoor environments including pools, spas, landscaping, hardscape, outdoor kitchens, structures, lighting, fire and water features and more.
That creates significantly more revenue opportunity from each client.

Unique Landscapes & Custom Pools is looking for experienced Pool & Landscape Designer / Sales Representatives to serve clients throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.
Unique provides qualified leads. Our Design Representatives meet with homeowners, develop and present creative pool and outdoor-living concepts, prepare proposals and close sales.
Because Unique designs and builds virtually everything outside, our representatives have the opportunity to sell complete outdoor environments—not just swimming pools. Once the sale and contract are processed, our in-house CAD and construction-planning teams take over the detailed construction documents and production process.
Success in this role means creating great designs, communicating ideas effectively, building trust with clients and consistently closing profitable projects.
- Meet with company-provided leads at their homes or our Chandler showroom
- Measure and evaluate residential project sites
- Develop pool, landscape and outdoor-living concepts
- Create and present 3D designs using Pool Studio
- Prepare estimates and proposals using Unique's pricing systems
- Present designs, pricing and project scope to clients
- Follow up with prospective clients and close sales
- Process contracts and required sales documentation
- Maintain client and opportunity information within our CRM
- Utilize DocuSign, Microsoft Outlook, Teams and other company systems
- Provide your own reliable transportation, laptop, mobile phone and basic field-measuring equipment
- Strong consultative sales and closing skills
- Ability to translate a client's ideas into a compelling visual design and presentation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Pool, landscape, outdoor-living or related residential design/sales experience preferred
- Experience with Pool Studio or similar 3D design software strongly preferred
- Comfortable estimating and presenting higher-value residential projects
- Comfortable learning and working within CRM, online pricing and digital sales systems
- Self-motivated, organized and capable of managing leads and follow-up independently
- Professional appearance and ability to represent the Unique brand effectively
