Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper in Fort Lauderdale, FL to maintain the building's exterior and surroundings. This full-time exempt role offers a $20/hour pay rate with a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays and Saturdays off.

You will handle lawn care, debris removal, and equipment upkeep while following safety procedures. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with handheld tools, and strong customer service and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools (weed cutter, mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower).
• Multilingual abilities are desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Follow OSHA/EPA guidelines for chemical storage and use.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass and maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May assist in loading/unloading supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Uses new equipment safely and follows safety procedures.
