Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper in Boca Raton, FL to maintain the property's exterior appearance. The role involves lawn care, edging, debris removal, and safe operation of maintenance equipment, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and weekends off.

Responsibilities include operating tools like weed cutters and mowers, following OSHA/EPA guidelines, and providing excellent service to building occupants while supporting team safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
