Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper in Fort Lauderdale, FL to maintain the building’s exterior and surrounding grounds. The role focuses on lawn care, debris removal, and safe operation of maintenance equipment.

You will work Sunday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with Fridays and Saturdays off, and join a team committed to professional service and safety. Comprehensive benefits apply to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
